The Cliffs of Moher
One of the most popular visitor attractions when touring Ireland, seeing is believing how spectacularly beautiful The Cliffs of Moher really are. This is a site surrounded by folklore and there are many ‘tall tales’ to tell about unrequited love, an Irish hero, mermaids and a lost city which is said to remain underwater until the golden key to open the castle doors is returned… Movie buffs will delight at seeing the caves filmed in many scenes over the years including the enormous one used in ‘Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince’. The Cliffs of Moher are a true natural wonder and you can capture amazing photos from the cliff edge or even from a distance should you wish to take a boat ride which can be arranged locally.
